With the UQ Blackboard, you can get to your course from anywhere. You can check your grades, look at the course material, see announcements, post on discussion boards, and more from your computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Can’t log in?
Do the following if you can’t get into UQ Blackboard.
- Check your enrolment details in mySI-net. You won’t be able to log in to Learn.UQ if your enrollment information is wrong or if you haven’t signed up for any courses (Blackboard).
- Changing your enrollment can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
- If you still can’t log in, you should talk to UQ.
- If your course content isn’t on Learn UQ Blackboard, you can contact your course coordinator, whose name is on the electronic course profile for your course (ECP).
Using the UQ Blackboard app on your phone
You can also use their mobile app to get to Learn.UQ. Blackboard now has Mobile Learn and Bb Student, which let both teachers and students access content and use a number of Blackboard features.
You can get the Blackboard app from the Google Play Store, the Apple Store, or the Windows Store.
Follow these steps to use the UQ mobile app;
- Go to either the Apple app store or the Google play store, depending on what kind of phone you have.
- Then look for the Blackboard app on your phone and install it.
- Start up Blackboard.
- Look in the text field for “The University of Queensland.”
- Use the dropdown menu to choose The University of Queensland.
- Enter your student number (e.g. s1234567) and password.
- Check the box that says “Keep me logged in.”
- Tap the Log In button.
The app might not let you do all of the important learning and grading tasks in a Blackboard course. It is strongly suggested that students keep using a web browser on a computer to get to Blackboard.
UQ blackboard help (FAQS)
How do I access Blackboard (eLearning) at UQ?
At UQ, you can get to Blackboard through my.UQ, the student web portal. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for students to get UQ Blackboard access to a course after they sign up for it. Every UQ site has a link to my.UQ in the upper right corner.
Who can access the online training modules via eLearning@UQ (Blackboard)?
The training modules can be used by anyone with a UQ username and log-in. Visiting Researchers, Associate Staff, and organisations that are affiliated with UQ but have their own ABN must apply for access to UQ systems as either “Associate Staff,” “Visiting Staff,” “Business Affiliate,” or “Research Affiliate,” depending on the situation. This will give them a UQ username and log-in so they can access the materials they need. You can’t get to the online training modules if you don’t have a UQ username and log-in.
What’s a course profile?
You can learn the most important things about a course from its profile. It lists the course’s goals and learning goals, the books that must be used, the criteria for grading and due dates, and other important information. Electronic course profiles are another name for course profiles at the University of Queensland (ECPs).
On the Programs and Courses website, you can find information about each course. If you’re a current student, your course profiles are also available on mySI-net (student login required) and on your course’s Blackboard site.
What is a course coordinator?
Course coordinators are in charge of making courses, making plans for them, and teaching them. On the electronic course profile for your course, you can find the name and contact information for your course coordinator (ECP).
