The University of Toronto’s weblogin service, known as UOFT Webmail, gives you a single location to sign up for web services offered by the university.
One frequent name for this is a “single sign-on” (SSO) system. You can access services like the Portal and webmail as well as other weblogin-enabled web services after you log in to weblogin.utoronto.ca.
Access to protected services is made easier with a single login. Users can access numerous services by simply logging in once with a single JOINid/UTORid and password. Users can be verified by service providers without them having to manage their own password systems.
How to log into uoft webmail
To log into University of Toronto, U of T webmail;
- Go to webmail.utoronto.ca in a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).
- The Weblogin page will be shown.
- Type your UTORid and your password and click Log in.
- You could be asked to run maintenance; you can choose to run maintenance or avoid it, and the system will then direct you to your UTORmail mailbox.
The UTmail+ email service, the Portal, the campus wireless network (UTORcwn), and numerous departmental services are just a few of the services that can be accessed with a UTORid.
Access to protected services is made simpler with a single user ID and password. Service providers are relieved of the responsibility of maintaining a password management system and users just need to remember one password.
UTORids for students are assigned during the registration procedure. To receive your TCard with your UTORid on it as well as a letter outlining how to activate your UTORid, you should go to the campus TCard office nearest you.
How to log out of uoft email
Using a function known as cookies, U of T Weblogin keeps data on your web browser. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser, which also logs you out of weblogin and any services that use it for authentication.
Look for the close, exit quit, or “X” button to close your browser.
Uses of UTORid
The services that need a UTORid and password are listed below.
