UCR Academic Calendar 2022-2023: Important Dates

The typical length of a quarter at the University of California-Riverside (UCR) is 10 weeks. There are four seasons: fall, winter, spring, and summer.

To be considered a full-time student at UCR, you must enrol in at least 12 units per quarter. Undergraduates, on the other hand, must take an average of 15 units per quarter to finish in four years.

When they have 16 units, MBA students are considered full-time. When they have completed 9 units, students in the online master’s in engineering programme are considered full-time.

The academic calendar for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer 2022-2023 at UCR is listed below, along with important dates, schedules, holidays, and due dates.

UCR academic calendar fall 2022

The fall quarter of 2022 at UCR begins on September 19 and ends on December 9, 2022. Here are some more important dates and deadlines on the Fall Quarter 2022 academic calendar for UCR.

From May 5, 2022, the UCR Fall quarter class schedule will be online.
On May 10, 2022, you will be able to see enrollment appointments on UCR R’Web.
From May 16 to June 7, 2022, continuing students at UCR can sign up.
June 20, 2022, is the last day to ask to be let back in.
From August 22 to August 26, 2022, readmitted graduate students and new graduate students can sign up.
On the UCR academic calendar, transfer students can sign up between August 30 and 31 and September 1, 2, 6, and 7 of 2022.
Due to processing time, the last day to mail payment for tuition or fees is September 1, 2022.
On September 9, 2022, college students could take up to 17 units (2nd pass opens at 9:00 a.m.).
For continuing students, the add/drop period is June 8–June 24, 2022, and for all other students, it is September 9–October 7, 2022.
The last day for UNDERGRADUATE students to pay their fees is September 15, 2022. The last day that undergraduate students can pay late fees without having to pay a $100 late fee. Payments for R’Web and Drop Box are due at 4 p.m. On the UCR academic calendar, enrollment must be done by 4 p.m. for Financial Aid to be approved and paid out.
The date for UCR check-in is September 16, 2022.
The dates for moving into the UCR Residence Halls for the fall of 2022 are September 17 and September 18. In August, you will get an email telling you about Check-In Day, your scheduled arrival time, where to check in, and how to get a parking permit.
The Fall quarter of 2022 at UCR starts on September 19.
Students in their first year of college have until September 20, 2022, to pay any fees they still owe. If you do not pay, your classes are dropped.
The UCR academic calendar says that graduate and medical students have until September 21, 2022, to pay any fees that are still due. If you don’t pay on time, you’ll have to pay a $100 late tuition payment fee.
On September 22, 2022, fall classes at UCR will start.
The last day to add or drop courses in R’Web without getting a “W” on your transcript is October 7, 2022. There is no fee for this. The last day for undergraduates to get dean approval to take 10 or fewer units is October 7. (and reduced tuition).
According to the UCR academic calendar, October 14, 2022 is the last day to withdraw from a course (no fee), change the grading basis (no fee), and add a course without dean approval (no fee).
November 4, 2022, is the last day to drop a course for a $4 fee.
The last day to change grading basis or variable units is November 18, 2022. There is a $4 fee for this change.
Fall 2022 classes will end on December 2, 2022. It’s also the last day to drop out of UCR for the whole semester.
From December 3, 2022, to December 9, 2022, the last exam will be given.
The last day to finish work from the last quarter and get rid of an incomplete grade is December 9, 2022.
The end of the fall quarter of 2022 is December 9, 2022.
The end of the school year is on December 10, 2022.
From December 10, 2022, to January 2, 2023, UCR students will be on winter break.

UCR academic calendar winter 2023

The UCR winter quarter starts on January 4, 2023, and ends on March 24, 2023. Here are some more important dates and deadlines on the UCR academic calendar for the winter quarter of 2023.

September 22, 2022, is the last day to ask to be let back in.
The UCR Winter quarter 2023 class schedule will be online on October 20, 2022.
On October 25, 2022, enrollment appointments will be able to be seen on UCR R’Web.
From October 31, 2022, until November 22, 2022, continuing students at UCR can sign up.
Registration for new and returning graduate students will be made public soon.
Registration times for transfer students will be announced soon.
Due to processing time, the last day to mail payment for tuition or fees is September 1, 2022.
On December 7, 2022, college students can take up to 17 units. Between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., registration was closed. The second pass goes on sale at 9 a.m.
From November 23, 2022, to January 20, 2023, you can sign up for make-up classes and add or drop classes.
Undergraduates have until December 15, 2022 to pay their fees. The last day that undergraduate students can pay late fees without having to pay a $100 late fee. Payments for R’Web and Drop Box are due at 4 p.m. The UCR academic calendar says that enrollment for Financial Aid qualification and payment must be done by 4 p.m.
Students in their first year of college have until January 2, 2023, to pay any fees they still owe. The academic calendar at UCR says that if you don’t pay, your classes will be dropped.
Payments to the Cashier’s Office are due on January 2, 2023, at 3 p.m. Payments for R’Web and Drop Box are due on January 2, 2023, at 4 p.m. Enrollment for Financial Aid must be done by 4 p.m. on January 2, 2023, so that the aid can be paid out.
Winter quarter at UCR starts on January 4, 2023, and graduate and medical students have until January 9, 2023, to pay any outstanding fees. If you don’t pay on time, you’ll have to pay a $100 late tuition payment fee.
According to the UCR academic calendar for 2022-2023, payments to the Cashier’s Office are due by 3 p.m. on January 9, 2023. Payments for R’Web and Drop Box are due on January 9, 2023, at 4 p.m. Financial Aid enrollment and payment must be done by 4 p.m. on January 9, 2023, in order to be eligible and get the money.
On January 9, 2023, winter classes at UCR will start.
The last day to add or drop courses for free in R’Web without getting a “W” on your transcript is January 20, 2023. The last day for undergrads to get permission from the dean to take 10 or less units is January 20, 2023. (and reduced tuition).
January 27, 2023 is the last day to drop a class without paying a fee, change the way you’re graded without paying a fee, or add a class without dean approval (no fee).
The last day to drop a course without paying a $4 fee is February 17, 2023.
The last day to change the way you grade or the units you use ($4 fee) is March 3, 2023.
On March 17, 2023, the last day of classes for Winter 2023 will be over.
The UCR academic calendar for 2023 says that the last day to drop out of school for the whole term is March 17, 2023.
Final exam time starts on March 18, 2023, and lasts until March 24, 2023.
The last day to finish work from the last quarter and get rid of an incomplete grade is March 24, 2023.
The end of the winter quarter of 2023 is March 24, 2023.
On March 25, 2023, academic break/halls close.
On April 3, 2023, you can check your final grade on R’Web.

UCR academic calendar spring 2023

UCR’s Spring quarter starts on March 23, 2023, and ends on June 10, 2023. Here are some more important dates and deadlines on the Spring Quarter 2023 academic calendar for UCR.

On January 3, 2022, the last day to ask to be let back in is.
The UCR Class Schedule will be online as of January 27, 2022.
On February 1, 2022, you will be able to see enrollment appointments on UCR R’Web.
From February 7 to March 1, 2022, continuing students at UCR can sign up.
Due to processing time, the last day to mail payments for tuition and fees is March 1, 2022.
On March 3, 2022, college students could take up to 17 units (registration closed between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. – 2nd pass opens at 9:00 a.m.).
From March 2 to April 8, 2022, you can sign up for a make-up class or add or drop one.
Undergraduate students have until March 15, 2022 to pay any outstanding fees without having to pay a $100 late fee.
Students in their first year of college have until March 21, 2022, to pay any fees they still owe. If you do not pay, your classes are dropped.
From March 21 to March 25, 2022, UCR will be on spring break.
On March 28, 2022, spring classes at UCR will start.
Graduate and medical students have until March 28, 2022, to pay any fees that are still due. The UCR academic calendar says that if you don’t pay on time, you will be charged a $100 late payment fee.
The last day to add or drop courses in R’Web without getting a “W” on your transcript is April 8, 2022. There is no fee for this. The last day for undergraduates to get permission from the dean to take 10 or fewer units is April 8. (and reduced tuition).
April 15, 2022 is the last day to drop a class without paying a fee, change how you are graded without paying a fee, or add a class without dean approval (no fee).
May 6, 2022 is the last day to drop a course for a $4 fee.
The last day to change the grading basis or variable units is May 20, 2022. There is a $4 fee for this change.
On May 29, 2023, there is a holiday for Memorial Day at UCR.
On June 3, 2022, the last day of school for Spring 2022 will end. It’s also the last day to drop out of UCR for the whole semester.
From June 4 to June 10, 2022, final exams will be given.
The end of the spring quarter in 2022 is June 10, 2022.
Commencement is on June 10 – June 13, 2022.
