Candidates for UBC Undergraduate Scholarships must meet all of the criteria listed below:
- Required Language: English is the primary language of instruction in UBC. Before being accepted, all prospective students must demonstrate that they have a basic command of the English language.
- Eligible Countries: All world countries.
- Being new to UBC and coming straight from secondary or post-secondary education (university or college).
- Enrol at UBC as an international student with a study permit issued by Canada (student visa). Your eligibility for the IMES may change if your citizenship status changes.
