How to Apply for Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) ?

(1). From 18 October 2021 to 17 January 2022, submit an application for a master’s program at universityadmissions.se. The SISGP is only open to master’s programs that are included on the list of master’s programs. The steps are listed below.

  • Apply for up to four qualifying master’s programs at universityadmissions.se by January 17, 2022, to get started.
  • You will receive a personal application number with eight numbers once you have submitted your application to the master’s program(s) at universityadmissions.se. Keep the number handy because you’ll need it to apply to SISGP.
  • The University Admissions department must receive the application fee and all supporting paperwork by 10 February 2022. There is no reimbursement for the application cost.
  • You won’t be qualified for a SI scholarship if you didn’t adhere to University Admissions’ application guidelines or deadlines.
  • For both university admissions and SI scholarships, there are separate requirements and application processes.

(2) Fill out the form below to apply for a SI scholarship between February 10 and February 28, 2022.

  • You can submit an application for a SI scholarship once your master’s program application is complete. See the list of necessary forms and papers above for further details.
  • Use our online application site to digitally submit the necessary documentation during the application period of 10–28 February 2022.
  • From 00:00 CET on February 10 to 23:59 CET on February 28 2022, the online application portal is accessible. During the application period, access to the online application portal will be available on the page below.

Required documents:

  • A motivation letter: The SISGP form must be used for your 2021–2022 motivation letter.
  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV): The CV must be formatted according to the SISGP template and may not be longer than the allowed number of pages. Additional pages won’t be taken into account.
  • Two distinct letters of recommendation: For the letter of recommendation, you must utilise the SISGP form. Your employment history must be referenced in at least one letter. If the second letter of recommendation is based on your participation in networks or organisations of the civil society aside from your normal work, it will be considered a merit. The letters must be signed by the referee and stamped either with the official seal of the organisation being referred to or by a notary public. The form(s) must be typed, printed, signed, and stamped before being combined into a single PDF file and uploaded.
  • Proof of work and leadership experience: For documentation of work and leadership experience, you must utilise the SISGP form. The referee’s signature and a notary office’s or the referred organization’s official stamp must be placed on the work and leadership form. The form(s) must be typed, printed, signed, and stamped before being combined into a single PDF file and uploaded.
  • A copy of your passport: Clear indications of your name, citizenship, and image are required. The last page of the CV should also include a copy of the passport. It is your duty to make sure you have a copy of your current passport to attach.
