Eligibility Criteria for SBW Berlin Scholarship
The following requirements must be met by the applicant in order to be eligible for the SBW Berlin Scholarship:
- Required Language: English.
- Eligible Countries: All world countries.
- Age Limitation: 18-30 years old
- Before beginning their university studies, applicants should be fully enrolled in the first, second, or maximum third semester at a state-recognized institution (in Germany or abroad), or they should be applying for a Master’s degree soon after or just before receiving a Bachelor’s degree. A German grade point average of at least 2.0 corresponds to average grades.
- Applicants who can demonstrate having a modest net income. The applicants’ combined family income does not surpass the official estimate of the average income for their home nation. All household members’ incomes and the family’s various sources of income, such as those from jobs, businesses, real estate, child benefits, and pensions, will be taken into consideration.
- Extra-curricular Activities Experience: Those candidates who have worked or volunteered in the nonprofit sector.

Note: You should already be enrolled in a university in Berlin or Potsdam or have received admission there.
(1) Complete the application.
(2) Include your photo and personal and contact details.
(3) Describe your past and present academic background.
(4) Specify the following information:
- Your household members and parents.
- Most recent school or university certificate
- Highest school leaving certificate
- Highest obtained university degree
- Current employment and ideal career
