- On Monday, April 4, 2022, people can start signing up for classes for the fall term.
- First-year and transfer students at Rutgers can move in from Thursday, September 1, 2022, to Friday, September 2, 2022. First-year and transfer students can move in from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and the New Student Convocation is at 4 p.m.
- Saturday, September 3, 2022, to Sunday, September 4, 2022, is move-in day for returning students.
- On the Rutgers school calendar for 2022-2023, Labor Day is on Monday, September 5, 2022.
- The Fall Semester at Rutgers starts on September 6, 2022.

- Thursday, September 15, 2022 is the last day to ADD a class(es).
- On Thursday, September 15, 2022, you have to finish any incomplete grades from the summer or they will be changed to a “F.”
- The last day to drop all classes and get a full refund is Monday, September 19, 2022.
- The last day to WITHDRAW from all classes and get a tuition refund is Monday, October 31, 2022.
- Monday, November 8, 2022, is the last day to drop a single class with a “W” grade.
- The last day to drop out of college (all classes with a “W” grade) is Monday, November 21, 2022.
- From Thursday, November 24, 2022, to Sunday, November 27, 2022, is Thanksgiving.
- Wednesday, December 14, 2022, is the last day of regular classes.
- Thursday, December 15, 2022, is Reading Day.
- From Friday, December 16, 2022, to Thursday, December 22, 2022, the last exam will be given.
- From Saturday, December 24, 2022, to Monday, January 2, 2023, Rutgers will be on winter break. No offices at the university are open. No School.

- Monday, December 5, 2022, is the last day to sign up for Winter Session and pay your bill without being charged a late fee.
- The $125 late fee for Winter Session registration starts on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
- The last day to drop a winter class and get a full refund is Thursday, December 22, 2022. This is also the last day to add a class (late registration).
- The Winter Session starts on December 23, 2022. (except Maths classes designated as 50:640).
- From Monday, January 2, 2023, until Wednesday, March 1, 2023, you can apply for a diploma for a May graduation.
- Winter School starts back on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, after the winter break.

- On Monday, November 7, 2022, people can start signing up for classes for the Spring Term.
- From Monday, January 2, 2023, to Wednesday, March 1, 2023, you can apply for a diploma for the May graduation.

- On Monday, January 16, 2023, diplomas will be given to people who graduated in January.
- On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, the Spring 2023 Semester starts.
- Thursday, January 26, 2023, is the last day to ADD a class.
- The last day to drop a class without getting a “W” grade is Thursday, January 26, 2023.
- Monday, January 30, 2023, is the last day that you can DROP ALL CLASSES and get a full refund. Possible changes.
- Rutgers’ academic calendar says that students have until Wednesday, February 1, 2023 to finish their incomplete grades from the Fall or Winter semesters or they will be changed to a “F.”
- The last day to apply for a diploma for a May graduation is Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
- Rutgers From Saturday, March 11, 2023, to Sunday, March 19, 2023, is spring break.
- The last day to drop ALL classes and get a tuition refund is Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
- Monday, April 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. is the last day to WITHDRAW from a class with a W grade.
- The last day to WITHDRAW from the whole Spring term is Monday, April 17, 2023. The cut-off time is 5 p.m.
- After 5 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023, all “TZ” and “NG” grades for the fall will automatically change to “F.”
- Regular classes for the spring of 2023 end on Monday, May 1, 2023.
- Tuesday, May 2, 2023, and Wednesday, May 3, 2023, are reading days.
- From Thursday, May 4, 2023, to Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the last exam will be given.
- The date that May graduates will get their degrees is Sunday, May 14, 2023.
- Commencement and Convocation Ceremonies at Rutgers University-Camden Monday, May 29, 2023, will be Memorial Day.
- Undergraduates have until Thursday, June 1, 2023, to finish their incomplete grades from Spring before they are changed to a “F.”

What is the schedule of classes?
The Schedule of Classes lists all of the classes at the university. Rutgers works with schools and departments on the New Brunswick campuses and the Summer/Winter Session office to process courses so that they show up on the SOC with the right course attributes, prerequisites, cross-listing information, budget codes, and more.
What is the course scheduling system?
The Course Scheduling System is a Web-based interface that academic units and departments use to send requests about how to schedule courses.
What are standard class periods?
Standard course periods are used on the campuses in New Brunswick. The start and end times are different for each campus to make it easier to move between them. Most classes last either 80 or 55 minutes, but some, like double periods and labs, go longer than 80 minutes.
