RPI Academic Calendar 2022-2023: Important Dates

Check out the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, RPI Academic Calendar 2022-2023 and schedule. There are important dates and deadlines on these lists. Registration for the Spring semester starts in early November, and registration for the Fall semester starts in the Spring before, usually in early April.

RPI academic calendar fall 2022

Check out the RPI academic calendar for fall 2022 to see important dates, due dates, and schedules.

On August 8, 2022, new transfer students can start signing up for the fall of 2022.
On August 15, 2022, new first-year students will be able to sign up again for the Fall 2022 term.
RPI Fall semester begins on August 29, 2022.
On September 5, 2022, it will be Labor Day.
Graduate and undergraduate students have until September 12, 2022 to add courses, change sections, or put courses on audit. It is the last day to finish NE/I grade expectations for courses in the Spring of 2022.
The Registrar’s Office must receive an online Degree Application through RPI SIS by October 8, 2022, if you want to graduate on December 31, 2022.
The RPI Reunion and Homecoming of 2022 will take place from October 7 to 9, 2022.
The holiday for Columbus Day is on October 10, 2022.
Family Weekend takes place from October 28 to 30, 2022.
The last day for both undergrads and grads to drop a class is October 21, 2022.
The last day for undergraduates to add or remove a Pass/No Credit designation is November 18, 2022.
From November 24, 2022, to November 26, 2022, is Thanksgiving Break.
On November 28, 2022, classes will start again.
The last day of fall 2022 classes is December 9, 2022. It is also the last day to finish NE/I grade expectations for courses in the summer of 2022.
Reading/Studying Day is on December 10, 2022.
From December 14 to December 20, 2022, the RPI Fall Final Exams will be held.
On December 21, 2022, at noon, the dorms will close. The dining halls for residents also shut down after dinner.
On December 21, 2022, winter break will start.

Current students can sign up for the Spring 2022 semester between November 8, 2021, and November 22, 2021.
On December 15, 2021, you can sign up or drop out again for Spring 2022.
Tuition and fees for Spring 2022 are due on January 7, 2022.
On January 9, 2022, dinner will be served in the dining halls for residents.
The Spring semester of 2022 at RPI starts on January 10, 2022.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is on January 17, 2022. Holiday.
On January 18, 2022, classes will start again after the holiday break.
Graduate and undergraduate students have until January 21, 2022 to add courses, change sections, or put courses on audit.
President’s Day is on February 21, 2022. No classes.
On February 22, 2022, classes will start again. Stick to a Monday plan.
For May 2022 graduation, the last day to submit Degree Applications online through RPI SIS is March 4, 2022. Undergraduate and graduate students have the same last day to drop classes. The dining halls for residents also shut down after dinner.
The RPI Spring Break in 2022 will be from March 7 to March 11.
On March 13, 2022, dinner will be served in the dining halls for residents.
On March 14, 2022, school starts back up again after spring break.
GM Week events is on March 23, 2022. No school today.
Undergraduates have until April 15, 2022 to add or remove a Pass/No Credit designation.
The last day of school is April 27, 2022.
There are reading/study days from April 28, 2022, to May 1, 2022. On these days, teachers can’t give tests or set work expectations for students.
From May 2 to May 6, 2022, spring finals will be given.
The start date is May 21, 2022.
