Monday, August 22, 2022, is the first day of the fall semester at Purdue.

Fall classes at Purdue start on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 7:30 a.m.
The last day to sign up without paying a late fee is Monday, August 29, 2022.
The last day to cancel a course assignment without it being recorded is September 2, 2022.
Monday, September 5, 2022, is Labor Day.
Monday, September 19, 2022 is the last day to add or change a course with the instructor’s and advisor’s signatures or drop a course with a grade of W.
From Monday, October 10, 2022, to Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Purdue University will be on break.
On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, the second eight-week courses will start.
The last day to drop a course with a W or WF grade is Tuesday, October 25, 2022. The last day to add or change a course with signatures from the teacher, advisor, and department head is the same day.
The Purdue Thanksgiving holiday is from Wednesday, November 23, 2022, to Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Saturday, December 10, 2022, is the last day of fall classes.
From Monday, December 12, 2022, to Saturday, December 17, 2022, there will be final exams.
Saturday, December 17, 2022, is the last day of the fall semester.
On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, fall final grades are due by the end of the day.

On Monday, January 9, 2023, the Spring Semester starts.
Monday, January 16, 2023, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The last day to sign up without paying a late fee is Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
The last day to cancel a course assignment without it being recorded is Monday, January 23, 2023.
Monday, February 6, 2023, is the last day to drop a course with a grade of “W” or to add or change a course with the instructor’s and advisor’s signatures.
On Monday, March 6, 2022, the second eight-week courses will start.
The last day to drop a course with a W or WF grade is March 10, 2023. The last day to add or change a course with signatures from the teacher, advisor, and department head is the same day.
From Monday, March 13, 2023, to Saturday, March 18, 2023, Purdue will be on spring break.
The last day of spring classes is April 29, 2023.
From Monday, May 1, 2023, to Saturday, May 6, 2023, students will have final exams.
The end of the Spring Semester is on May 6, 2023.
Final grades are due on Tuesday, May 9 2023.
