1. Beginning at 12 p.m. on August 5, 2022, early arrival for the fall semester will begin.
2. The day people can move into Ohio State in 2022 is August 15. Staggered move-in for autumn semester arrival begins.
3. On August 16, 2022, OSU Housing fees are due. The last day to pay without being charged a fee.
4. The first payment is due on August 16, 2022.
5. On August 20, 2022, the OSU dorms will officially open for the fall semester. Breakfast is the first meal served.
6. On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the fall semester at OSU will begin. Classes start for the fall first session at Ohio State.
7. Labor Day is on Monday, September 5, 2022. There are no classes and offices are closed because it is an OSU holiday.
8. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, is the date for the enrollment count for the first semester.
9. Monday, October 10, 2022, is the last day of classes for the first session.
10. Final exams for first-session classes will be given on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12, 2022, unless other arrangements are made. Check your OSU BuckeyeMail often to find out about important changes.
11. From Thursday, October 13, 2022, to Friday, October 14, 2022, OSU will be on fall break.
12. Monday, October 17, 2022, is the first day of the fall second session at OSU.

14. Friday, November 10, 2022, is Veterans Day. It is a holiday at OSU, so the offices will be closed.
15. From Wednesday, November 23, 2022, to Friday, November 24, 2022, OSU will be on Thanksgiving break.
16. Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day is on November 25, 2022. There are no classes and offices are closed (OSU holiday).

OSU academic calendar summer 2022

Here are the most important dates and deadlines on the academic calendar for summer 2022 at Ohio State, OSU.

1. On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, the first fee is due.
2. Classes for the Summer Term 8-week Session 1, 6-week Session 1, and 4-week Session 1 start on May 11, 2022.
3. Summer Term, 8-week Session 1, 6-week Session 1, 4-week Session 1 Enrollment Census Date is Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
4. Memorial Day is on Monday, May 30, 2022. Schools and offices will be closed.
5. Monday, June 6, 2022, is the last day of 4-week Session 1 classes that have been planned.
