Candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for the Monash Research Training Program:

• Possess credentials that, in GRC’s judgement, are equal.
• The academic record, research output, and past research experience of applicants are taken into consideration for awarding scholarships.
• Have never held a Postgraduate Research Award funded by the Australian Government or Monash for more than six months.
