For the academic year 2023–2024, the ICT Fund BETHA Program is accepting applications from Emirati students planning to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees. The ICT Fund is developing a Betha program for undergraduate and graduate students who want to study ICT-related issues in an effort to improve Emiratis’ technology knowledge.
The ICT Fund offers scholarships to deserving students through partnerships with several universities and educational institutions in an effort to foster the development of a generation of scientists and technologists who will shape the direction of the ICT industry in the UAE in the future. Hundreds of scholarships for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees have been awarded through the Betha program, enabling Emirati students to study in the UAE, the USA, Australia, and Japan thus far.

Scholarship Coverage
ICT Fund BETHA Program, which is fully or partially supported, is available to graduates and undergraduates.
Eligibility Criteria
The following prerequisites must be satisfied by applicants in order to be qualified for the ICT Fund BETHA Program for Emirati Students:
- Required Language: English
- Eligible Country: United Arab Emirates
For the Postgraduate (Master’s) Degree programme, the following criteria must be met:
- Should possess UAE citizenship and be able to prove it with a civil register.
- Should submit an application for a specialisation in the area of information and communications technology
- Should have received a bachelor’s degree with a total score of 3.00 or higher.
- Should not have gotten a scholarship or any other type of financial aid from another organisation.
- The Master’s student is eligible for the scholarship but not the monthly allowance if they work.
For the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree programme, the following criteria must be met:
- Should possess UAE citizenship and be able to prove it with a civil register.
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent with a minimum score of 75%.
- Should submit an application for a specialisation in the area of information and communications technology
- In the previous three years, one should have completed secondary school or its equivalent.
- It should not be used
- Should not have gotten a scholarship or any other kind of financial aid from another organisation.

- Kindly prepare clear copies of:
– Full Acceptance/Admission Letter. (Conditional Approvals will not be accepted)
– Certified High school Certificate for undergraduate students certified by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent (showing the final result)
– Transcript for students continuing the undergraduate program (an official transcript that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the registers office.)
– Family book (all pages without exception)
– Official IBAN letter that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the bank.
