FAQS
When will my courses be available in HuskyCT?
Courses aren’t always available in UConn HuskyCT LMS. Most courses are available by the date of the first class meeting. If a course is listed as “unavailable” after the first class, talk to your teacher or the course director to find out why. Students in the School of Medicine can also talk to the HOME office. Students in the School of Dental Medicine can get in touch with the Academic Affairs Office.
What if a course I’m taking is not listed in HuskyCT?
Courses are offered in HuskyCT based on what the teacher wants to do. So, not all UConn Health courses may have a site that goes with it.
If you’re officially signed up for a class that isn’t listed after the semester’s start date, ask your teacher about it.
If you were just added to a course, give the LMS up to 24 hours to get the news before you contact your teacher. If it’s been 24 hours and your teacher has confirmed that the course is still being taught, call the ITS Help Center.
What if my exam attempt in HuskyCT was interrupted and the system won’t allow me to finish?
Only your teacher can reset quizzes or tests. If you have already tried more than the allowed number of times, you will need to talk to your teacher. Keep in mind that your teacher is the only one who can give you more chances.
What if I can’t find an assignment, exam, or other content items in my HuskyCT course?
Your teacher decides when tests, assignments, and other content are available and where they go. Instructors will sometimes put conditions on the release of content, such as start and end dates, prerequisites, etc. Talk to your teacher if you need help navigating the course or getting to certain materials.
What if I uploaded the wrong assignment and the system won’t allow me to re-submit?
Your teacher decides how many times you can try to do an assignment. If you accidentally uploaded the wrong file for an assignment, you should talk to your teacher. The UITS Help Center is not allowed to reset assignment attempts and doesn’t have a way to do so. The teacher may let you try your assignment again if he or she wants to.
What is ReALMs?
The MDelta flipped classroom and team-based learning model is built on Remote Active Learning Modules (ReALMs). ReALMs give you the background information you need to be able to take part in the in-class application exercises. ReALMs include videos, presentations, book chapters, journal articles, and other types of content.
