Blackboard Douglas: is the learning management system at Douglas College. To put it another way, it is the online learning platform for Douglas College.
Blackboard at Douglas College has a set of features and tools that let you interact with course content, turn in assignments, take part in discussions, work with others in groups, watch/listen to media, and do a lot more.
How to log into blackboard douglas
To get to the Douglas College Blackboard;
- Start your web browser and go to douglascollege.ca, which is the College’s home page.
- On the Douglas College home page, move your mouse over the word Login in the top right corner.
- Click Blackboard Community in the drop-down menu that comes up.
- The login page for Blackboard will show up (douglascollege.blackboard.com).
- Click “Login”
- Type in your College Network Access (CNA) information. Your CNA credentials are the same ones you use to use a campus computer or Wi-Fi at the College.
- Click Sign In.
- Blackboard will open on the My Online Courses tab (also known as your “landing page”).
- To choose a course, scroll through the My Courses module, which is usually in the middle pane.
To get to the student resources, go to Blackboard Community and click on the Student Resources tab in the green menu at the top. At the top left of the screen, there are three tabs: General, How-To, and Career Center. Click on each tab to see what it has.
Here, you’ll find information and instructions about your college email, your course ID, and how to navigate your course, submit assignments, take a test, and see your grades, among other things.
How to log out of douglas college blackboard
- When you’re done with Blackboard, click the “Log Out” button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- The logout page for Blackboard shows up.
- Click Yes, end-all SSO sessions if you really want to end your SSO session. If you do this, you’ll go back to the Douglas College website.
- If you click “No, do not end all SSO sessions,” you can use other SSO apps without having to re-enter your credentials. When using a computer in a public place, you should always click “Yes,” end all SSO sessions, close all browsers, and log out.
- Send an email to servicedesk@douglascollege.ca with your name, course ID, and contact information if you need more help.
